Wiper module
Overview
Our integrated circuits and reference designs for automotive wiper modules accelerate your design using high-performance motor drivers for brushed or brushless direct current (BLDC) motors to provide intelligent drive capabilities with enhanced diagnostics for robust motion control systems.
Design requirements
Wiper module designs require:
- Position and velocity control for multi-speed operation with stall detection.
- Low-power dissipation while driving high-current loads.
- Minimal conducted and radiated emissions.
- Accurate rain detection for automatic operation.
