Reconfigurable instrument cluster
Overview
Reconfigurable instrument clusters allow you to choose different information layouts with a single hardware design. Our integrated circuits, reference designs and products enable you to design systems with high-performance application processors and integrated architectures that enable 3D navigation, animated gauges with high-definition video performance and interfaces to drive monitoring cameras and head-up displays (HUDs).
Design requirements
Reconfigurable instrument cluster designs require:
- Implementation of driver notification functions such as audio amplifiers for driver warnings.
- The ability to support high-resolution displays.
- Balancing meeting EMI requirements with performance.
