Block diagram

Aftermarket head units with integrated display typically incorporate most infotainment features into one system. This makes the head unit more cost-efficient and easier to install by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). We have a strong embedded processor and analog portfolio to support your head unit with integrated display designs

Typical video interfaces red, green, blue (RGB) parallel, online data interchange (OLDI) or high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI), as well as controls such as I2C, serial peripheral interface (SPI) or general purpose input/output (GPIO).
Backlight drivers commonly require the boost of voltages and are typically powered off the vehicle battery.
Converting clock and data lines to low voltage differential signaling (LVDS) helps mitigate external machine interface (EMI).
Temperature sensing is used to ensure the backlight LEDs do not drive the temperature beyond the specified panel rating.
